Some of comics' great artists are stepping in to finish Batman/Catwoman Special #1, the live on known jut of the tardy John Paul Leon before his untimely passing.

Mitch Gerads, the longtime artistic partner of Batman/Catwoman Special #1 author Tom King, has signed on to draw the last half of the issue Leon was working connected before he passed away after a long fight with genus Cancer this old May. The special has been expanded to keep the legacy of the creative person, with Gerards joined by Bernard Chang, Shawn Crystal, and Dave Stewart will completed the original storey, knowledgeable by Clayton Cowles.

The special will also admit a line-aweigh of artists providing pin-ups, including:

With these revised plans now in situ to finish the come forth, D.C. has regular Batman/Catwoman Special #1 to go happening cut-rate sale on January 25, 2022.

Batman/Catwoman Special #1 was originally deep-laid to be released in the late summer 2021, as a special standalone addition to the main 12-issue Batman/Catwoman series by B. B. King, Clay Horace Mann, and Liam Distinct

Batman/Catwoman (and away extension, Batman/Catwoman Special #1) takes pose in an alternate universe slightly disconnected from D.C.'s main existence but future tangentially off Tom King's recent Batman run. In this Elseworlds-like story, Bruce and Selina reunited after she left him at the altar - going on to finally get married (and take up a kid straight).

According to limited information common by DC, the Batman/Catwoman Special was to be a flashback that explores previously unknown deeper connections between Bruce and Selina as children and teenagers, earlier they even became vigilantes.
